01Acceptance of these terms
These terms cover your use of the SpoonSMP Minecraft server (play.spoonsmp.eu), this website and the SpoonSMP Discord, together called the “Service”. By connecting to the server, joining the Discord or using the site, you agree to these terms, our Rules and our Privacy Policy.
If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
02Eligibility & accounts
To play you need a legitimate copy of Minecraft (Java or Bedrock). You are responsible for your own account and everything done with it.
- You must follow the Minecraft EULA and, on Discord, the Discord Terms of Service.
- If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
- Keep your login details private. Don't share or sell your account.
03Rules & conduct
You agree to follow the Rules, which form part of these terms. We may change them at any time, and the version on the website is the current one.
04The Service as it is
SpoonSMP is a community project, run by volunteers. We do our best to keep it online and running smoothly, but:
- the Service is provided “as is” and we don't guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of bugs;
- we may change, pause, reset or shut down any part of the Service, including worlds or seasons, with or without notice;
- we may roll back the world or player data to fix bugs, crashes, exploits or data loss, and cannot always restore lost items.
05Items, builds & content
Items, currency, ranks, land and builds in the game are part of the game and have no real-world value. You don't own them, and we can't offer compensation if they are lost, removed or changed.
You keep ownership of the content you create, such as builds and messages. By posting or building on the Service you give us a non-exclusive, free right to store, display and share it for running and promoting SpoonSMP, for example in screenshots, trailers and on social media.
06Store
The SpoonSMP Store is not open yet. When it launches, purchases will be for optional ranks, cosmetics and perks that support the server, and additional store terms (including pricing, delivery and refunds) will be published here. Any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law won't be affected.
07Suspension & termination
We may warn, mute, kick, suspend or permanently ban you, or remove your content, if you break these terms or the Rules, or if we reasonably believe it is needed to protect the server or its community. Punishments can be appealed through our Discord.
You can stop using the Service at any time. You can ask us to delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
08Ownership & affiliation
The SpoonSMP name, logo and website belong to us, apart from the third-party materials credited to their owners. SpoonSMP is not an official Minecraft service and is not associated with, approved by or connected to Mojang or Microsoft. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
09Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SpoonSMP and its staff are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost items or loss of access arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page, and keep you informed of any significant changes on our Discord. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
